All copyrights to these illustrations have expired and they are free for any purpose and may be bought and sold and rendered to any projects commercial in nature or otherwise as you might wish except that you may not offer them in a pattern format having received them from our site.
Many of the pictures in this section are available in two versions. The first version is the original. The second version is just a printer-friendly version. It has lines around any point in the picture where the color changes. The printer-friendly version will usually use much less ink to print.
HOW TO WORK WITH OUR PATTERNS
*Reformat your Margins to Maximum Efficiency.*
*FOR CUSTOM E-PATTERNS CLICK ON ILLUSTRATION*
ONLY PRINT WHAT YOU NEED
EXAMPLE: If you enlarge a design up into 20 pages but only want to print 7 for design purposes, just click on the design elements you want to print.
If you want to find the true color of an illustrated species you will need to look it up elsewhere and generally follow the natural etchings for shading. Otherwise feel free to create your own fabulous color schemes. Blue lizards pink zebras etc. these can be charming interesting or mythical! Choosing your own colors may enable you to select tones that will fit well into your décor and in addition they are more forgiving. In the case where an animal illustration consists of only a head you can paint it peeking out from behind a tree and so on.
These patterns are a repost of certain art works belonging to the public at large. Where as the originals may still exist and be privately owned these have either slipped through to us through publications or we have received them through the generosity of those who retain the originals. Golden, belonging to the larger entity such graphics are surely also available at your local library where they can be found in "reference" and copied, call your local librarian and ask.
Perfect Patterns for School Mural Projects!
We will continue to add Public Domain Illustrations as time goes on.
